Description: Graffiti yellow - 500ml canThis color is not a very common Fender paint job, but in reality it is quite spectacular. It gives your guitar a completely different touch and goes well with a maple fingerboard and white pickguard.Colors for vintage-inspired guitarsAfter intensive work and in-depth research by our laboratory and technical department, we have developed guitar paints that faithfully recreate the tones of vintage FENDER and Gibson guitars to paint electric guitars. They are based on original patterns from the 50s and 60s. However, keep in mind that the colors of vintage guitars may have changed significantly over the years due to the aging of nitrocellulose lacquer and the change in the brand's own colors. Therefore, two guitars finished in 1960 with Fender card colors may look different to each other or compared to a more current guitar today.Nitrocellulose lacquer in a 500ml canIf you want to paint your guitar perfectly and have painting equipment (spray gun and compressor) available, nitrocellulose paint in a can is your best choice. You get higher performance at a lower price and with painting equipment the end result will be professional with less effort. It is recommended to dilute the product with our solvent to adjust the viscosity. For perfect application we have two types of solvents: the usual solvent is Solvent Medium (item no. 48138 / N540423104), but for more extreme ambient conditions of humidity and temperature we can use Solvent Retard (item no. 48139 / N540425104) to avoid bubble formation and efflorescence on the surface. The optimal application conditions are a temperature of 15 to 25 °C and a humidity of 50 to 70%. The percentage of dilution depends on the paint shop and its configuration, but it is recommended to use 10 to 20% solvent. The usual gun tip is 1.3 to 1.5 and the compressor pressure is 2.5 to 3 bar.Seen cheaper somewhere else?
