Description: This is a pair of vintage HOLLYWOOD LOW TONE steel packed mufflers from the 1950's. Never used. Still in the original boxes. Recently discovered after decades of storage. The part number is DT 198. DT standing for DEEP TONE. Both mufflers are stamped with this number. The label on the box indicates they are designed to fit 1939 1940 Oldsmobile and 1939 to 1947 Hudson. They could also be custom fit to any old style HOTROD. The short end is a 2 and 1/8 OD. The long end is 1 and 5/8 OD. The length measurements are shown in the photos. These were very popular ad ons in the fifties and early sixties. Probably not many left in this condition. Great sound for old school hotrods.
