Description: I was fortunate enough to work at EMD when they were retiring folks early and tearing down the main factory. This brochure came from a retiree who saved EVERYTHING. He had tons of stuff, much of which I'm just starting to go through after 25 years. Most everything he had was brand new stored in file folders. In some cases he had multiples, in others, just one copy. This 1966 is a full line catalog of 40 Series locomotives offered by EMD. It covers the SD-45, SDP-45, SD-40, SDP-40, SD-38, GP-40, GP-38, SW-1500 and the SW-1000 model locomotives. Each model has a small multi-page insert with technical details along with a center-foldout detailed side view. Very complex brochure. 38 total pages! Note that on the cover photo it appears to be creased. That is the brochure conforming to the small technical inserts. The brochure is brand new with no damage. See photos. Will send USPS
