Description: NOS Mopar 16-LBS Stainless Steel Radiator Cap Part # 3781830 B5 Made in USA Feb 1975 - 48+ Yrs Old Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep Part# 3781830 Center Stamped B5 Build Date Feb 1975 This is a stainless steel radiator cap not zinc plated. This NEW OLD STOCK (NOS) vintage Mopar radiator cap is stamped with the part number 3781830 and the Chrysler "Pentistar" emblem. The center brass rivet is stamped B5 which means the date of manufacture was Feb 1975. The outer edge of the cap says "KEEP TIGHT" with arrow and "DO NOT OPEN HOT". Fits many, many Mopar (Chrysler - Plymouth - Dodge - Jeep) applications with a wide range of years. Please make sure it fits your application before bidding. NOTE: This radiator cap is what is referred to as a "Partial Pressure Cap". On a partial pressure cap, the vent valve in the center of the rubber gasket is NOT spring loaded to close. If you pick-up a partial-pressure cap and shake it a little bit, the vent will flop open. (On a full pressure cap, the vent is spring loaded to stay shut with a light spring.) "For 1974, the radiator cap was changed to a new 16-psi version designed for use with the new coolant recovery system and used part number 3781830.
