Description: This listing is for a rubber topped tricycle or juvenile bicycle saddle seat, the style of which would be found on tricycles or juvenile bicycles of the late 1940s to mid 1950s. The seat was made by Faulhaber which is a part of the Persons Majestic Mfg. Co. of Worcester, MA. Even has the script style "F" on the seat top for the Faulhaber name. The seat is NOS and still has the Persons Majestic tag on the clamp bolt. The underside is dusty with a few scratches or chips to the painted metal from shelf storage for many years. The rubber seat top is completely intact and in excellent condition. The seat comes with its original adapter seat post which reduces from 5/8" to 7/16" for standard older tricycle post mounting holes. To use it on juvenile bicycles up to 24", simply remove the adapter and the seat will mount directly on a 5/8" post found on most of these bicycles. The seat dimensions are: 9" L x 8.5" W x 2.5" H at the springs. The seat is in excellent condition and would look great on a tricycle or small juvenile bicycle project of the period. These older seats are getting harder to find as NOS. Thank you for looking!
