Description: Up for offer is a pristine, vintage Fenwick FS65 spinning rod. I am sure the rod has never been fished, it still has a paper sticker on the cork grip. There are no sings of wear, mars or scratches on the blank, wraps, cork or the butt material. The anodized aluminum reel seat and stainless steel guides show neither wear nor corrosion of any kind. The serial number is R240712 and I have been told it indicates the rod was made in 1979 or 1980. See the last photo of the serial number. The rod comes with the original nylon fabric rod sock that looks new and the original Fenwick triangular tube. The only defects to be seen are on the tube lid. The paper insert in the lid is faded and spotted and the hinge is tearing on one side. See the photos. Shipping cost could run high due to the length of the shipping tube. I will refund any shipping fees above my actual cost.
