Description: NOS! Vintage Solid Brass European-Style Barrel Transom Catch w/Blunt Tip Latch This listing is for one (1) high-quality vintage Brass European-Style Transom Catch. The new old stock is in very good, unused condition with minor surface scratches and blemishes consistent with age and loose storage. The cast brass lock case measures approximately 2 1/16” tall by 1 7/8” wide with a 7/8” wide body and a projection of 2 1/8”. The ring has 1” OD and a 1/2” ID for use with pole hooks. The blunt-tip hook latch is 13/16”” long and 3/8” at the widest point with a ¼” travel. The spring latch has a nice, smooth action. The vintage barrel transom lock weighs about 4.5+ ounces and does not include the strike or screws. A high-quality European-style transom catch. Attention Antique & Vintage Window Restorers!
