Description: This is a new variant of my Baldwin DR6 kit to transform a Williams FM Trainmaster into a unique 1940s era diesel engine-- you will have to supply your own motorized chassis and hardware. The Baldwin DR6, nicknamed "baby face" due to its distinctive cab end, used by several railroads such as the New York Central and the Seaboard. -*- This kit will specifically fit a Williams FM, a postwar Lionel FM, or a MTH Railking FM chassis. MTH PREMIER FMs (purple boxes) will not fit without extensive modification! Please contact me if you are unsure. -*- Each kit consists of the engine body and one pilot. This version features a super high accuracy body 3D printed using high strength "ABS-like" UV cured resin. The new body consists of 3 overlapping sections which you will need to glue together (I recommend using gel type CA glues). The pilot is printed in the standard ABS filament for improved strength. Ken's Model Miniatures specializes in kits, scale models and custom parts for the hobbyist. All of my models are designed, fabricated and assembled right here in the United States. In addition to model train kits, I also have model cars and planes in multiple scales (including reproduction Tootsietoy, American Flyer and Marx parts), so take a look at my other items and see what I'm offering.
