In his illustrious career he has served as the Chief of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, Michigan and the president of Paragon health. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine. He is a founding member of the Outpatient Endovascular Interventional Society and the the South Asian American Vascular Society. He has served in leadership roles in several surgical organizations.
