This retired piece features a really cool retro design with a balloon shaped light in a glossy red finish, proudly displaying the M & M logo, being held with a string (which operates the light).The M & M is standing on a yellow circle on a brown base with another M & M logo and there is the red push button to activate the talking. He makes two outrageous comments about being turned on and then about being shut off! The lamp has an electric cord and also holds batteries, which probably needs replacing. The Desk Lamp has an adjustable height. The base width is 9 inches. It is a unique collectible from the 1990s manufactured by the Mars Candy Company. Great Gift for young and old. Great present for a candy lover, especially M & M's!!!!! The Blue M&M was chosen by M&M's fans in a 1995 contest. Blue was the winning color, with 54% of over 10 million votes.
