This beauty by the Father of Abstract Expressionism, Max Schnitzler is a RARE offering. Acquired from the family about 20 years ago. Many of his abstracts are very Lee Krasner-like. She and Max were very close and worked for a Jig saw Puzzle manufacturer in NY City in the 40s. Also a close friend of Gorky's. Both had their very own special style and were fiercely independent. Max was remembered by many of the NY School when he played baseball and was known as a man of super strength. I am not sharing my research on here to to unethical dealers. Will supply some reference material to purchaser.
