Description: This offering is for an antique early 20th century "FREEMAN'S POUND TALCUM" powder tin. The tin measures app. 3 7/8" tall and 4 3/8" in diameter. The top and bottom are made of tin while the side walls are made of cardboard. The front of the tin features a beautiful graphic of a little girl with large banana curls in her hair. Please note that the overall look of the tin is a little brighter in our photo's than it is in person due to the camera flash. That said though it's still beautiful. On the right side it has the 1906 Food and Drug Act information so it probably dates to shortly after that. The original label is still on the lid as well and features the same graphic of the little girl. The lid label was designed to have holes poked in it to be used as a shaker, only six of the holes were ever punched. The surface has minor wear and soiling as well as some pencil scribbles on one side but there are no rips, tears or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 9.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
