Description: Old Commonwealth Bourbon Chief Illini decanter top. This is the head/topper from decanter design #1. Note that this is from the 2nd run of Chief decanters, the smaller 375 mil versions. The small #1 design was made in 1988 and features the Chief with his arms raised (decanter is pictured for reference - but not included). Topper includes the original cork and is in excellent condition without damage. Perfect replacement for anyone who broke or lost their original topper, which was common. Note: I obtained several Old Commonwealth Chief toppers from the man who had bought all of the remaining, unused stock from J. P. Van Winkle many years ago. I also have the smaller "I" topper that fits decanters #2 and #4 listed separately. Let me know if you have any questions.
