Description: This is a set of two Ko-Imari blue and white octopus arabesque pattern namasu plates. They are from the Edo period. The front features a circular pine, bamboo and plum pattern, while the back features a floral arabesque pattern. The edges are shaped into a gentle ring of flowers. The base features a snake-eye pattern. There are no noticeable scratches, but as they are old, there may be scratches, dirt, frills, glaze chips, kiln marks, and cobalt blue bleeding.
