It appears that there are MORE THAN (40) DIFFERENT STATES represented and this is a collection of virtually all U.S. Bureau precancelled stamps. THERE ARE OVER 45,000 STAMPS IN THIS LOT and obviously not all of the stamps in this lot are pictured. There is no foul odor. (see pictures) There are mostly single stamps included but there are also pairs, strips, coil pairs and a nice lot of blocks of four. There are a few larger blocks. THERE IS NO EXCESSIEVE DUPLICATION OF STAMPS FROM BIG CITIES ( NEW YORK N.Y.// CHICAGO // ) This is an UNRESEARCHED lot and there is a very nice variety of stamps. Again, there are over FORTY STATES REPRESENTED among the loose stamps, blocks, etc. There are only a few stamps here and there that are "stuck" to one another a few blocks of four, etc. There is also not an overwhelming group of these "stuck" items. This is mentioned solely for accuracy. These stamps are mostly from 1926 to 1938 and there are some later issued stamps from "Liberty" series, etc.(see pictures) There is some obvious duplication but this lot still offers a nice selection of many different. There are some obvious varieties. These are all WITHOUT GUM. These blocks have uniform coloring and these stamps are "loose" and unmounted. They are offered as found. There are no creases, no thins, no tears or other major damage noted. There are some with NO HINGE remnants , no thins or tears are noted and the centering and the perforations are as pictured.
