Hardcover. 39 numbered pages, but many pages are printed on only one side and only the printed sides are numbered. This copy is beautifully bound by Leighton Son & Hodge, with the bookbinder's label on the rear pastedown. Three edges are gilt, with extensive gilt decoration on the covers and spine. The text and illustrations are printed on heavy stock, which is stiff and durable. Condition is very nice. The binding is tight. There is a seam split inside the back cover. There is a bookplate (David Graham) inside the front cover. Also inside the front cover is a bookseller's seal (L.W.N. Keys, Plymouth). There are no pen or pencil notations.
