This microscope uses a non-Olympus brand glass polarizer placed over the field lens. It has been tested to give excellent extinction in combination with the Olympus analyzer. Quintuple objective turret rotates smoothly and clicks at each setting. DPlan 4x, DPlan 10x, A 20x, DPlan 40x, DPlan 100x objectives installed.
