OOAK Barbie Mermaid Odile Y2K Chunky Highlights Saran Hair Reroot Belly Body

Description: *DRESS AND SHOES NOT INCLUDED* For your consideration is a gorgeous OOAK Barbie doll! This former Mermaid Barbie has the gorgeous Odile open mouth smiling face sculpt and lovely face screening (yes, the screening is pixelated, but she still looks beautiful). She's been rebodied on an early 2010s belly button body with articulated knees! The body and Odile head aren't a perfect match regarding skintone, but they look okay together. There would definitely be better body options out there, but this is all that I had on hand. The Odile head has a slight pinkish undertone that the belly button body doesn't have. The arms have some light surface wear. The neck joint has been modified to make removing the head easier if the future owner decides to give the doll a new body. She has been fully rerooted with saran hair in the colors "Honey Child" and "Saucy Brown" from RestoreDoll.com. So gorgeous! Who doesn't love a chunky highlight moment?? The light golden blonde chunky highlights are only on the middle part in her hair. The rest of the hair is the "Saucy Brown" color; a gorgeous reddish brown. Her new mane is long, full and so soft! Her hair was washed and conditioned with fabric softener after her hair was treated with boiling water. The middle parting in her hair isn't thatched; just like how it was originally done with her pink hair by the factory. Her reroot was done entirely with the knot method. Fabri-Tac glue was added inside the head to secure the new hair. She's being sold as nude without any accessories and ready for dressing up. The doll head was recently purchased by me in store and has never been played with!
