We now have fiber optic internet, finally, and so no longer need this. It was well cared for. Fully charged before first use. Clean and used in moderate temperatures only. We turned it off when not watching a movie or using our tablet or laptop. So it's in good working condition. Never had any issues with it. It cost us over $300 new and is approximately 1.5 years old I think, or less. I have unlocked the SIM card and removed it and did a factory reset as well so it is ready for your SIM.
