Description: Charming Victorian era blue and white transferware large milk or small water pitcher in the Oriental pattern by D B & Co. There are several English manufacturers who had those mark initials but this one has not been attributed to a specific maker. Appears to be a flowing transferware, but not exactly a flow blue. The color of the design is a blue-green.Lovely rounded shape with geometric handles on the lid and sides with an embossed ribbon design around the lid's handle. Flowers and am unfolded fan design are featured on the body.Size: Just under 6" tall, 4 1/2" wide including the handleCondition: Very good. No chips or cracks or staining. The lower curve on the lip is a little rough but appears to be a manufacturing quality issue with a heavy glaze, not a repair.
