Description: >Offered here for your consideration is an old & original 1920's-1930's University of Oregon Ducks women's cheerleader/rally squad sweater!! A truly amazing find, this vintage sweater is a "Genuine Wil Wite" sweater, made in Olympia, Washington (see neckline's attached label). Research helped me in determining the sweater to be circa 1930's era, and should be considered exceedingly rare!! This stunning cream-colored sweater appears to be woolen, and features a simply awesome and large Oregon Duck embroidered patch (Oregon school colors) sewn into the sweater's front; the back of sweater features yellow and green felt letters that are stitched-on that simply say "Oregon Rally". Gotta love the "crudeness" of the Duck mascot patch, utilized on this historic rally sweater many years before the Walt Disney Company and Oregon came to an agreement on usage for the Donald Duck mascot. The sweater measures approximately 22" (measured from back of neckline to bottom hem) x 17" (armpit-to-armpit), though I would not recommend wearing due to age and fragility of this museum/display-worthy athletic garment!! <>Condition: there are scattered holes and stains present, but as you can plainly see, the sweater DISPLAYS SUPER!!! The embroidered patch is in *Fine Shape*, with vivid colors! Same can be said for the felt "Oregon Rally" letters on sweater's back!
