Description: Up for sale is a rare and large original double sided 1926 Atlas Map of the Flushing area located in the historic 3rd Ward of Flushing, Queens New York. It measures 19 x 27. Map 18: Covers from 160th St. to 170th St. and from 32nd Ave. to Willets Point Blvd.Map 19: Covers from Flushing Bay to 129th St. and from Flushing Bay to 30th Ave. The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, brown is stone, pink is brick. The X's through the buildings indicate it is garage. The brown streets indicate cobblestone while green indicates macadamized pavement and white means it is unpaved. And the light green lines on the map show who the first recorded and original landowners were as well as the original streets. I am selling my collection of rare maps.
