Description: Original 1977 STRAT-O-MATIC Baseball Complete CARD SET Including Additional Player Set This listing is for the Strat-O-Matic Baseball Game cards based on 1977 player statistics and includes the full additional player set. The season set has 26 teams with 20 cards each. The Additional Player Set includes four cards per team for 21 of the teams and five cards per team for five of the teams, for a total of 109 additional cards. There are five additional cards in the Additional Player Set for players that spent time on multiple teams. These players are (and the team set you will find them placed in):1 – Clay Caroll (Cardinals)2 – Dave Kingman (Mets)3 – Doc Medich (A’s)4 – Dave Pagan (Mariners)5 – Steve Renko (Cubs) In total you will receive 634 cards (520 + 109 + 5). The 1977 cards are setup for Basic and Advanced play. This season marks the introduction of fielders' e-ratings. Also included is a copy of the roster sheet. The roster sheet calls this set 1978 because it was originally released at the start of spring training of that year. This practice was Strat-O-Matic’s card set naming convention at the time, which always caused a bit of confusion. This practice was changed in 1990, and since then the rosters have specified the season on which the cards were based. The cards for each team have been sorted in the order of the roster sheet so you can quickly and easily confirm the completeness of the set.
