And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. The top part of the panel has been cut centuries ago, likely during the Protestant Reformation, since it was a depiction of God. A foot is still visible coming down from the sky, surrounded by illuminated clouds. Unsigned and not dated. Medium: oil on wood panel Panel size: 14 1/2” x 17” Outside frame size: 17 7/8” x 20 1/8” Year of creation: 1600-1650 Condition notes: The wooden panel is slightly bowed and has a vertical crack down through the center. The panel has been professionally conserved and is stable. Surface is clean, freshly varnish. Areas of fleck inpainting and age related wear. Presents well.
