Although direct attribution cannot be made, it reminds us of the work of William Lightfoot Price (1861-1916) who was a major Art and Crafts architect and general proponent who was instrumental in the creation of the "utopian" communities of Arden, Delaware and Rose Valley, Pennsylvania. The work is unsigned with the only writing being printed to verso of board stating "Manufactured by Hurlock Bros. Company, Inc. 3436-38 Market Street., Philadelphia, USA."
