Description: Original Genuine Lithograph by Al Hirschfeld neatly removed from his 1941 oversize limited fine art book "Harlem as Seen by Hirschfeld", limited to 1000 examples, this from #561. Serigraph/lithograph printed on handmade Canson and Montgolfier paper, published at the height of Hirschfeld's long and legendary career. Lithograph itself is 12" x 9", tipped at top edge (otherwise unattached) within a printed grey surround on 18" x 14" folio sheet, and remains in fine overall condition with only traces of age toning or handling from storage, and just a trace of faint dampstaining at extreme upper edge of only the mount paper, not affecting the actual lithograph. I have left the cover page for this individual litho attached, as it was originally bound, but this can either be retained folded behind for framing, or easily removed at the original spine fold. Sale is only for the specific litho in the listing title and its cover sheet, as pictured. Images of book cover and holograph/ publication pages are for reference only, not included in sale. I combine shipping for multiple purchases, and charge only actual cost of shipping, and pack with sturdy protection.
