Description: Pottery Bowl is 14" in diameter with a beautiful blue & green Iris Design signed by ceramic artist Karen Patinkin. This is one of her early pieces from around 1985. Patinkin was a resident artist at the renown Lill Street Arts Center (formerly Lill Street Studios) in Chicago, Illinois. The intricate detail and design of the irises as they push the border of the inner circle creates an elegant and serene image. The color palette is blue and green with a hint of purple to give the irises depth and detail. Condition is Used, but in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. When the piece was displayed on a table, small felt pieces were added to the bottom to protect the table-top. Later it was kept in a display cabinet.
