Description: This listing is for a fantastic, original signed watercolor painting by a local Persian artist "Sofer" as shown as shown in the photos. The lines you see are from the glare, a little challenging to get a good photo of this wonderful piece of original art.The piece is framed in a black wooden frame and double matted as shown. It measures approximately 15" tall x 11" wide and is in wonderful condition. This is one of a series of Persian watercolors I have that belonged to my grandparents. They were stationed in Japan right after WWII and then stationed in Egypt in 1949. They were there for 6 years, and these watercolors were purchased during their travels. The series is of local tribesmen in various costumes as you can see. They can be hung as they are, or you can have them reframed as you see fit. A wonderful glimpse into a past era.US shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation.I automatically refund any overages in shipping charges and happily combine shipping where I'm able.
