One of a matching pair, each sold separately. About the ArtistPetar Panov Chuklev (1936 - ) is a Bulgarian graphic designer and illustrator from Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated in 1963 from he Academy of Arts with a specialty in fine graphics with a specialty in illustration. He has illustrated numerous books, including a 1975 Bulgarian edition of J R R Tokien’s “The Hobbit: Bilbo Baggins or Dotham and Back”. Chuklev's works were included in exhibitions of Bulgarian art abroad, in Germany, the USA, Slovenia, France, as well as at the graphics biennale in Krakow, Liège, Oslo, Sao Paulo. His works are owned by the Bulgarian National Art Gallery , the Sofia City Art Gallery , the Vidin City Gallery and private collections. Chuklev is the winner of numerous awards, including the special award for overall contribution in the field of book graphics at the First International Bookplate Biennale in Bulgaria.
