Description: This is an original 24" Antique Kalimantan Dayak Glass Bead necklace. There are Labang beads (the yellow ones) and many chiefly beads. The beads are from the 1800s and early 1900s. The beads had their own monetary value to the Dayak. This strand would have bought an adult Buffalo. The beads vary in size ranging from 6mm x 3mm to 8mm x 8mm for the large blue Chiefly large bead. The strand is 24" total.
