Description: Z3.. up for a buy now auction is a US Military Issue Early Vietnam Era Colt Knife/Bayonet complete with a original issue scabbard. The knife is marked COLT62316 HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A. The Colt logo is stamped into the steel blade. This is early Vietnam Era. This is what would have been issued to US troops in the field in the early part 1966 1967 1968. The knife does show some storage ware. The scabbard is the correct pebble grain scabbard that was issued with these early Colts .The scabbard is marked USM8A1. The scabbard shows storage ware. The scabbards must have been stored separate from the knifes. The scabbards must have gotten exposed to the elements because there are signs of rust and ware from long term storage on them as you can see in my pictures.. Please look at all my pictures.
