Description: Please see the second photo to see the date 1917 stamped on Brauer bros sheath. Original U.S. WW1 AC Co Model 1917 “Stamped 1918 and 1917” Bolo Knife. What is a bit more scarce about this is the original Brauer Bros Sheath is stamped 1917 rather than the common 1918 stamped ones that are everywhere. Cross guard has a little bit of play / is loose. Tiny spot chipped from backside of blade near top. The finish on blade is better than others I’ve seen but also not the greatest as there are signs on wear from rubbing when putting into sheath it seems with some of the finish gone. This is the exact knife and sheath you will receive. Overall measures roughly 15”. Wooden handle. Overall a great piece for somebody’s collection.
