Description: Original WW2 USGI cleaning brush as part of the cleaning kit for the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine and 1903 Springfield rifles.This is an original wartime cleaning brush with a metal spine and brown horse hair bristles (post war / Korean war era brushes used black nylon bristles). There may be various markings on the spine of the brush with various different crimping styles and finishes (please see pictures for reference). The brushes are unissued and in new old stock condition; they may have some minor blemishes and or some small spots of light surface oxidation from long term storage.Very hard to find original wartime examples nowadays, especially in this condition.Price is for one brush.
