Though he was speaking of no blackout of liberty, the actual Statue of Liberty was indeed dark during the night per standard blackout raid procedure. Visitors were still allowed to visit the island. Measures 39.25x26” Condition- fair, paper loss on left side top/bottom, crumpling and several tears all repaired with acid free archival tape on verso.
