Description: Ornate Mythological Youth Set Sterling Silver London 1854 Mono AMS Victorian era English sterling silver youth set, including fork, knife and spoon in figural mythological pattern, made by Chawner & Co (George William Adams) of London, 1853-1854. The fork and spoon are monogrammed "AMS" in a curly script on the back of the handle. All silver knife has applied grape decorations on both sides of the blade.This magnificent set measures: the knife is 8" long, the spoon is 6 1/2" long and the fork is 6 1/8" long. Total weight is 138.6 grams or 4.47 ozs Troy.The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
