When the selvedge fabric is woven on the shuttle loom it comes out at a certain width, enough to make two pairs of slim fit jeans. One pair is cut and sewn using the selvedge edge so it can be seen when the jeans are cuffed, the other pair are made by overlock stitching the edge where the selvedge would normally be shown. So these are the same fabric and cut, but slightly lower price and ideal for those who want the quality rough feel of orSlow's selvedge denim but aren't too fussed about showing off the selvedge with a cuff!
