Description: Here is a loom hand woven wool textile purchased from Ortega's Weaving Shop, Chimayo, New Mexico. I am the original owner, item was purchased March 25, 1989. Weaving measures approximately 14 1/2" wide x 14 1/2" long not including the 2" fringe along the top and bottom. It has a stripe pattern with varying widths with a center geometric medallion. Colors are primarily turquoise and a pinkish lavender.Photos show both front and back of the tapestry with the original Ortega's label.Item has been displayed, but not for several years, stored in a closet.
