Description: What a fantastic offer! This is a fabulous offer for you! It was a labor of love for my father who was the Architect behind this work of art & Sports History. He envisioned this work and through favorable circumstances was able to put it together. He had a good friend and business associate who was personal friends with Oscar Robertson and once he agreed to introduce my dad the ball got rolling. They discussed the possibility of having Robertson personally sign each piece of a limited edition print run of 980. My dad designed the format displaying the benchmark achievements of Robertson's career. Additionally, he thought Oscar being shown in his Olympic Jersey was a nice touch. Haggling ensued, a price was set and with much twisting of the proverbial arm Oscar finally agreed to sign his full name. This was no mean accomplishment as Robertson all but refuses to sign anything other than "The Big O" when giving up his autograph. Now, to find an artist to execute this vision. It just so happened that my dad was a fan of Norman Rockwell's art and had the opportunity to commission Bill Deuhren an understudy of Rockwell and artist of merit in his own right to execute this print. It was copyrighted and finished in 1995. This was originally to have been the first issue of a Bil Duehren Cllection by Mid Continental Gem Imports, Inc.Tuff Stuff agreed to facilitate the sale of this piece. The original list price was $299.00 USD. Once in awhile one of these surface on the open market. The rest are coveted additions to private collections. My father retains a number of this rare print in his private collection. He does donate one or two every year or so to charity events. I was able to convince him to let me offer this one here.It has the original Certificate of Authenticity. This is number 367 out of 980. It is hand signed by Oscar Robertson and Bill Duehren.
