Description: We found this carved wooden horse's head in our father's study. It appears to be an example of the sort of outsider art or folk art that patients would give to him (our father was a physician). The piece measures about 9 1/4" at its highest point and 7 3/4" at its longest point. There is a mark on the bottom that looks like an "H". The piece is in nice condition, as shown in photos. There are some dents on one side of the horse's neck. It's possible that those are original with the piece. They're shown in one of the photos.
