Description: This OUTSTANDING cotton touching stars quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a secondary background solid red diamond design and 238 stars. The quilt came out of central Pennsylvania.It measures 74" X 78" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with a couple of small faint spots and no wear. There are straight line designs quilted throughout at an even 9 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding are the same beautiful blue print, and the batting is thin. The pics just don't do justice to this 19th century MASTERPIECE in REMARKABLE CONDITION -- truly MUSEUM QUALITY!
