Description: Oxford Illustrated in color by John Fulleylove, described by Edward Thomas A.&C. Black, Ltd, London, revised edition, with 32 illustrations, 1922One of "Black's Popular Series of Colour Books" -- describing the history and scenery of counties of England. About 5 1/2 by 8 inches, 268 pages. The illustrations are in color and are similar in style to the one on the dust jacket. Hardcover book, blue cover with gilt titles, with protective plastic covering. The dust jacket is just about destroyed -- only the front panel survives, and it is discolored and torn and appears to have been water-damaged. The book has two bookplates, one on the inside of the front cover and the other on the front flyleaf, but is otherwise unmarked. Binding is firm, cover shows very little wear. A really charming introduction to an interesting bit of England. We usually ship by media mail. For priority or other special services, please e-mail us for rates.
