Description: Nice working pair of 15" CXL 1580 PAS Du-Plex speakers manufactured in the US by PAS with Renkus SSD 1800 Horn Drivers for the compression drivers. PAS provided Urei the CXL 1580 for use in their Monitors as the Altecs weren't meeting the specs. These are 300watt speakers. At some point, the cones were recconed by ORC Orange County Speaker Repair in their heyday, one of the most respectable speaker servicing centers, you can see the markings on the reverse side of both cones. There is no rubbing or tears in either cones, both diaphragms are in good shape. One of the frames has a small chip missing where the speaker clamp was ingaged. It's still possible to use that position to secure the frame down. Please see the last picture provided for this description.
