Description: A pair of original Boston & Sandwich Glass clear candlesticks in the petal and loop pattern, dating from 1840-1860. They measure approximately 7" tall and 4 1/4 diameter base. Molded flint glass with one wafer joint each. They have small bubbles, straw marks, creases and rough edges typical of old sandwich glass. The underside of the petals and the base edges of the bottom are rough from the molding process and have a few flea bites and a couple of flakes, typical of old sandwich glass.
