Description: peace of mind... feedback lets me know your package arrived safely..thank you!**Description:Pair Art Deco 1930's Chrome Sunburst Sconces Restored and Fabulous They were found in Milwaukee and carefully restored by nickel chrome electroplate. The surface has a thick luxurious feel like good older chrome. The sconces were most likely custom made, perhaps for a public building or theater. We don't know the maker and it seems there are no others that match this design. The original sockets say ARROW Made in USA and have the GE logo. The has partly rubbed off but can beseen in the photo. The wiring has not been replaced to keep important changes to a minimum. The sconces were tested byan electrician for conductivity and are in working order. These dramatic and beautiful sconces are slightly magnetic, and heavy at almost 3 lbs each. The frosted glass isoriginal. When attached to a wall the glass has about a 45 degree angle to vertical. Height 11.5" from the top of the backing plate to the point of the star. Width of glass 8".
