Description: Pair of Antique Elfinware Salt Cellars Germany ~ Circa 1880 Elfinware is a Dresden-like porcelain that was decorated with raised flowers. These beautiful salt cellars are delicate, yet heavily encrusted with moss, roses and forget-me-nots. They are just stunning. I was told one has a chipped leaf, but I can’t find it. One of them has a line in it – circled in last photo -- probably from the firing. It’s not a crack. Made about 1880. Each measures 2.5" x 1". No markings.
