Description: PAIR WWII USMC M1941 KHAKI COMBAT FIELD SUSPENDERS- REPRODUCTION. We believe they were purchased from AT THE FRONT (ATF). No markings. From ATF:These consist of two separate 1" web straps with locking slides and hooks to attach them to the pistol, cartridge or BAR belt. (The Marines were also known to use the M1936 suspenders issued to the Army.) We use original NOS US government hardware and shuttle loomed OD #3 webbing. I just received some additional items from a friend's husband who is retired from the USMC. He has been a collector of U.S. military equipment and apparel for several years (which he obtained from military demonstration shows, flea markets, and personal friends who also served in the Military. I have provided information and descriptions from him, as best he recalls. He was in the USMC during the Vietnam War, and collected several items from this era, as well as WW1 and WW2.
