Description: For sale we have a fossil jaw section and piece of upper skull palate of a rabbit named Paleolagus. These specimens were personally collected from my ranch in Nebraska. Paleolagus would have looked very similar to rabbits today with the exception of slightly smaller hind legs. These specimens were collected from the Chadron and Brule formations of the white river group, making them Eocene to Oligocene in age. These fossils would be a perfect addition to a fossil collection. It is a piece of natural history that tells the story of the ancient world and the creatures that once roamed the earth.
