With an MSRP of $17,400 the PAM00526 is definitely one of higher end Panerai watches. The chronograph function of this watch was designed for yacht racing, featuring a regatta countdown timer that gives you a five second lead prior to the start, and has two separate chronograph hands. One of the things I really like about this watch is that the orange and blue chrono hands, along with the accents on the dial, give multiple possibilities for matching strap colors. That coupled with the 47.5mm titanium case and polished bezel really make this one stand out with a much more premium presence. Panerai is one of the few brands of watches where you can actually hear the rotor spinning when your wrist moves, I oftentimes forget that I'm wearing a watch so it's kind of neat having an occasional audible reminder that you're wearing a high end luxury timepiece. This one also comes with the original black rubber strap from the factory, as well as a custom made orange Python strap. With Panerai's easy switch strap system this is a great watch for people who want to be able to have the feel of multiple watches, by alternating between multiple straps on a single watch.
