Description: PANZER LEADER variant scenarios - Guadalcanal Here are new scenarios for your Avalon Hill Panzer Leader games. They feature an article with background information and rules, scenarios printed on ivory colored paper and formatted in the same style as the original PanzerBlitz cards, full color prints for counters (which need to be mounted onto posterboard and cut out to make counters), and sheets for new maps (printed onto matt cardstock, also need to be trimmed and glued onto posterboard). These 10 scenarios focus on the actions on Guadalcanal around Henderson Airfield in 1942. The situations reflect infantry actions and do not involve many vehicles, so there are new rules to enhance the abilities of foot units. These rules include dug-in positions, route marching, company units breaking down into platoons, inverted movement, leaders and morale, etc. Scenarios include actions around "Bloody Ridge" and solitaire situations dealing with airfield attacks. New terrain includes Jungle and Palm hexes. The four-section non-geomorphic map features the terrain around Henderson Field, including beaches and jungle. The close-up image of the map section is for illustrative purposes; again, the counters need to be mounted and cut apart. NOTE: This set requires assembly!
