Description: Paradoxology by Miriam Therese Winter This book blends science and spirituality to see whole truths that "make all things new." Its aim is to help us realize that we who are people of faith cannot continue to practice our faith in isolation anymore. A quantum universe is telling us that we are all connected; that the God of one is the God of all; that diversity is a blessing; that the suffering of any of earths people or any part of the planet is a desecration to us all.The benefit of the book is to jumpstart us in a new spiritual direction that is as energizing as it is surprising. It encourages us to look at life through a new lens that will help us see more than we have ever seen before. It is one of those rare books on quantum science that transcends information and offers us a way of transformation. She is also a pioneer in contemporary sacred music; her first recording, Joy Is Like the Rain, went gold in the 1960s. Her award-winning books on biblical women, feminist ritual and spirituality, and quantum spirituality include eucharist with a small "e" and The Gospel According to Mary. Review "Paradoxology is filled with the enthusiasm and freedom of one who has wrestled with new insights and old paradigms and has learned not only to voice the emerging questions of our time, but to live with them, befriend them, and celebrate them. An exciting and energizing book." --Sr. Barbara Fiand, author of From Religion Back to Faith Details ISBN1570758174 Author Miriam Therese Winter Short Title PARADOXOLOGY Language English ISBN-10 1570758174 ISBN-13 9781570758171 Media Book Format Paperback Year 2009 Imprint Orbis Books Subtitle Spirituality in a Quantum Universe Place of Publication Maryknoll Country of Publication United States Residence Hartford, CT, US Illustrations black & white illustrations AU Release Date 2009-01-15 NZ Release Date 2009-01-15 US Release Date 2009-01-15 UK Release Date 2009-01-15 Pages 192 Publisher Orbis Books (USA) Publication Date 2009-01-15 DEWEY 248.482 Audience General We've got this At The Nile, if you're looking for it, we've got it.
